Isn’t it great! :-)
Working with the MacPro was great fun, but it lacked out in several fronts:
1.Not true 64Bit. Some parts where 64Bit while others where 32Bit. It is the first version that came out with Intel processors.
2.Screen real estate was 22”, which limits me with music production or video editing.
3.Heat. The MacPro emitted a lot of heat, which is a problem, especially in hot summer.
So, moved to iMac 27” i7 to get more than double the performance and bigger display. From playing a little with Digital Performer, it looks like it will turn out to be a great music production combination.
