Due to a lot of investment going towards completing my modular synthesizer, I kept off writing and producing material for the new studio album. I will probably not be able to release it before the end of 2009 and am probably looking more towards a beginning of 2010, hopefully the first quarter.
So far I had completed about 35 min of music in 4 pieces and am looking to add some more music before I release the album. The tracks are already mixed and are awaiting final mastering.

Q: What is a Klee Sequencer:
A: “A Klee Sequencer is a compositional tool that perhaps could be thought of as an almagm of the concept behind (but not the implementation of) the Triadex Muse coupled to a step sequencer. Klee Sequencing relies upon the composer's innate ability to discern patterns of musical worth from a variety of rhythms and pitches produced through a method that is often impossible to predict through interaction with the controls. Often, through manipulation of a single control or switch, the Klee Sequencer can reveal a new direction or approach to an already established Klee Sequence.” - Scott Stites - Klee Sequencer creator

I had recently built the Klee and have added it to my modular rig, to be used in my upcoming studio album “darklight”.

I had started building the modular synthesizer around 2 years ago, indeed a long time. Within that time I had managed to build around 60 modules from bare PCBs all up to a working and operational module.
During that time and while playing with the modules I had built I came to realize which modules I liked more and which ones I wanted to part with in order to make room for new ones.
Finally, I am at a stage where I have a fully occupied modular rack with about 50 modules that I like. I can now go back to writing and producing new music to complete the upcoming studio album “darklight” that will make heavy use of the modular synthesizer.
